Founded in 2001, our firm provides governmental and political consulting services to companies and organizations that are leaders in their fields and run the spectrum of industry and interest. Our mission is to provide guidance, consulting and advocacy services that exceed expectations while helping clients navigate the complexities of the governmental process. We achieve that by working regularly with governmental leadership, members of both parties, and their staff to find solutions to challenges our clients face. Of equal importance, we work to find ways our clients can partner with policy makers to achieve shared objectives.

Approach

After gaining an understanding of our client’s objectives, our firm will formulate a basic strategic plan with input and agreement from you. The plan will identify key personnel and include timelines, political factors and process oriented information. We then work cooperatively with you to implement the plan while leaving some room for adjustment, as the environment and situation is sure to change.

We work to increase awareness of our client’s agenda among policy makers and other stakeholders. We negotiate with adverse parties in an effort to mitigate opposition and rally any parties with a shared interest. We use sophisticated legislative tracking software to help us monitor relevant legislation and report regularly on activity of importance. We engage at every level of the process to ensure favorable outcomes.

We often get asked about the Company’s name. The Labrador Company was founded on principles of hard work and loyalty. We are service oriented and provide smart guidance to the people we work for. All character qualities of Labrador Retrievers and things we try to emulate in our business and life.
